From June 24 to September 3, SIDEWALK CATWALK is offering the artistic interpretations of a fashion industry icon – the mannequin – by 30 of New York’s leading designers and two student design teams. The exhibit will showcase custom-built mannequins, displayed runwaystyle down Broadway from Times Square to Herald Square (map), each modeling a bold, one-of-a-kind manifestation of its designer’s artistic vision.
Created by The Fashion Center Business Improvement District, this high-profile installation showcases the vitality and creative spirit of the industry in a unique outdoor setting on the public plazas of Broadway in the heart of Manhattan.
